My car just died on the way home from a basketball game, so I will probably not be in tomorrow so that I can take care of it. :( Behave! See you Tuesday.

Extra Credit

Here is a question for you guys, I'll give you 5 extra credit points to the first person to post the correct answer on the blog and 2 points for anyone that e-mails me the correct answer in the next 24 hours. (Make sure you identify yourself in the e-mail)

Uncle Henry was driving through the Bronx when he spotted a big green gorilla on the side of the road. He screeched to a stop, and jumped out of his car. He saw the outline of a number on the gorilla. He couldn't quite see the number, but he knew it was a 4 digit number. And:

1) He remembered seeing a number 1.

2) In the hundred's place he remembers the number is 3 times the number in the thousand's place.

3) He said the number in the one's place is 4 times the number in the ten's place.

4) Finally he said the number 2 is sitting in the thousand's place.

What is the number?

Welcome!

Hey guys,

I decided to set up a blog instead of an actual website. I think it will be easier for me to post things quickly and this type of forum will make it easier for students ideas to be a part of the site. Please don't hesitate to post something! It's an open forum, you are free to post anything that is not hurtful or vulgar. Although it's open to anything lets try to get some math ideas/questions/websites up here. Thanks for visiting, come often!
